Helly Hansen Crew Hooded Jacket Review

I picked up this Helly Hansen Crew Jacket on a rainy day trip to Block Island after taking the ferry from Point Judith, and it turned out to be one of those purchases you’re glad you made. We were getting ready to head back when the weather turned, so I ducked into a shop and grabbed it. Mine is the hooded version, with the hood neatly folding into the collar when you don’t need it, which is how I wear it most of the time. What I like most is the fit, the fact that it’s actually waterproof, not just “light rain” waterproof, and the cozy fleece-lined hand pockets. Overall, it feels more premium than a basic shell.
